A Touch of Gold – learn to use metal leaf

October 17, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

17 October 10am-12.30pm Tuition Fee: $60 includes all materials

Learn how to turn ordinary things into metallic wonders. If Midas could do it, so can you!

In this class you will learn how to apply metal leaf using age old techniques. All you need to bring is something you would like to “gild” such as a photo frame, a small lamp stand, a small box etc. The item can be made of ceramic, plastic, or painted wood. No plain wood please as it requires an extra stage that takes too long to dry. (We will cover these technical issues in the class and notes)

Also, the technique and products we use in this class are for indoor use.

You can choose from four colours of metal leaf – silver, champagne, gold* and copper*. Or even a mixture.

Tuition fee includes all materials and use of tools.

To register into this course or to ask more about it, please click here to email us with the class name and date in the subject line. gl1Silver on the Antipodes bottle for a stylish water bottle or vase, champagne gold on a ceramic heart.
