If you are comfortable sewing simple knit garments like T-Shirts, this class will help you take your knit sewing to the next level as you make a classic button up cardigan with a V-neck.

Cardigan by Leimomi Oakes

Using Leimomi’s personal cardigan pattern, you’ll learn the best ways to create perfect bindings, how to set buttonholes in knits, and other finishing tricks that will make your cardigans look better than boughten ones.  By using different fabrics, and playing with design details like bindings and pockets, you can change the look of your cardigan from comfy-casual, to pearl-necklace worthy.

Suitable for those with intermediate and higher sewing experience.  Students should have made at least 3 T-shirts with set-in sleeves.

Cost: $100 (includes the pattern)

Materials: Students will need to provide the fabric and notions for their cardigan.  A materials list will be provided on registration.
