Introduction to Knitting

Friday evenings 21, 28 August  6-8.30 pm (2 sessions)

Cost: $100 (includes yarn, knitting needles and darning needle)

A class for those who would love a little help getting started on their knitting journey. Learn the basics of knitting by creating a useful wash cloth. In this class we learn:

  • Casting on
  • Garter stitch, the foundation stitch for all knitting
  • Casting off

Level: This is an introductory class, so no experience is required!

Materials: A class kit containing everything you need to get started is supplied.

Cost: $100 (includes a starter kit)

Teacher:  This class is taught by our knitting specialist, Barbara Southern.
