Kaleidoscope Quilting -Class 1 of 2
September 14, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Two sessions – Sunday 14 September and Sunday 12 October, 10am – 5pm $150
This is a two day course aimed at experienced intermediate level quilters. Students will be shown how to measure, use a 60 degree triangle ruler and create kaleidoscope blocks using one fabric (six repeats of a pattern). No block is alike. Think of this quilt as a mystery quilt. You have no idea how it will look until you have sewn all your blocks and laid them out. Watch your blocks spin. Every block has three different individual looks that you can choose from before it is sewn.
Day one: Cut fabric, assemble & commence sewing your blocks
Day two: Lay out your blocks and commence sewing them together.
Two gorgeous Kaleidoscope quilts by Shirley.
To Register into this two day class, please email us, stating the class and dates.
A full needs list is available on request and to registered students.
Students will need either 4m of a 24″repeat or 2m of a 12″repeat fabric. The larger will make a double/queen quilt top, the smaller a single or throw sizes quilt top.
