Knitting cables and reading patterns

An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until June 11, 2016


Two sessions: 4 and 11 June 2pm-4pm $90 includes needles, yarn and pattern

If you have basic knitting skill and would like to learn cables come and find out how to read a pattern and make fancy fingerless mitts to practise your new skills. (shown in the photo)

You’ll be using 5mm knitting needles, a cable needle, and 10ply Rare Rotoiti in your choice of colour. All of these supplies are included in the tuition fee.

Your tutor is Barbara Southern, who has over 40 years experience of knitting, crochet, spinning, dyeing – pretty much everything you can do with wool.
