Make a muff
July 12, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Fridays 12 & 19 July 6-8.30pm (2 sessions)
Muffs are the glamorous amalgamations of handbags and gloves: providing a place to store your necessities in a hidden zippered pocket, while your hands stay snug and warm tucked in the interior.
In this class you’ll learn how to make a muff from my personal pattern. Make it out of a flat fabric, or use this as an excuse to learn how to work with pile fabrics like velvet, or faux fur, or even real fur (vintage or possom only please).
Suitable for all sewing levels, as long as you have taken at least an Absolute Beginners sewing class.
Materials: Students will need 1/2 a metre each of an outer and lining fabric, 1/2 metre of interfacing and a support fabric, one metre of wool or polyester batting, and a 12-18cm zip. Details will be sent upon registration.
Cost: $60, includes a pattern
