August 20, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Three thursday evenings

Three Thursday evenings – 20 & 27 August & 10 September, 6pm-8.30pm $95

Tutor: Maryanne, owner of Made on Marion.

Here’s a chance to learn and practise techniques for handling delicate fabrics while making a luxurious camisole.

You can make a camisole or lengthen to a slip – in the process learn how to:

  • cut out and sew on the bias
  • finish seams on delicate fabrics
  • easing and finishing as used to fit your garment perfectly.

You can choose a light satin charmeuse, crepe de chine or similar lingerie weight woven fabric in silk, silk cotton or viscose blend. No polyesters please, and no lycra or spandex content (unless you talk to me first).

Tuition includes the pattern, matching thread, microtex needles, and of course the use of our workshop tools and machines if you cannot bring your own.

To enrol into this course or to ask questions about it, please email by clicking here, or call Maryanne on 04 801 5850
