Hoodies are the perfect wardrobe staple. Learning how to make your own pullover hoodie means you’ll never be stuck with hoodies that don’t fit, don’t last, and don’t have your favourite fit and design features.
We’ll work through basic tips to make sewing low stretch knits easy, with no stretching and warping; how to set in sleeves in knit fabrics, and finally, how to hem a hoodie with ribbing bands.
Students can choose from a number of patterns for men or women, and with different cuts and design features.
Level: Students should have some experience sewing, be comfortable using a sewing machine, and be able to cut and sew precisely.
Materials: Students must supply their own sweatshirt fabric and pattern.
Teacher: This class is taught by our awesome sewing expert Brendan Goudswaard.
