Make the perfect pair of summer shorts with a professional finish as you learn a bunch of useful sewing techniques.

The ultimate summer shorts feature a front zip placket, generously sized slanted front pockets, back patch pockets, and a curved yoke waistband.  The waistband sits just below the navel, and the shorts end at mid thigh.

In this class you’ll learn how to:

• sew a placket zip
• sew slanted pockets that don’t gape or bulge
• create perfectly symmetrical back pockets for a professional finish
• sew a fully finished curved yoke waistband that sits smoothly around your body

Intermediate:  Students should be comfortable working with fabric, sewing accurately to within 3mm, and have inserted at least one zip on their own.

Cost: $145 (includes the pattern)

Materials: Students will need to provide their own fabric.  The fabric requirements will be provided upon registration.
