The 1930s inspired Ngaio Blouse
May 10, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, happening 4 times

Wednesdays 10, 17, 24, 31, May 6-8:30pm (four sessions)
Cost: $135 (includes a paper copy of the pattern)
To register for the class, please email Leimomi with your name, a contact number and the name of the class you’d like to be in as the subject line.
Improve your fabric handling, sewing and finishing skills as you make up a gorgeous blouse with a clever draped neckline with a gather detail. We will be making the short-sleeve version only.
Based on a vintage ’30s original, the blouse is best sewn in soft draping fabrics such as charmeuse satins, crepes and georgettes in silks, rayons or synthetics, or very light cotton voiles, making this the perfect opportunity to learn how to work with those trickier delicate fabrics.
The class will cover how to cut, sew and work with slippery and delicate fabrics, how to set in sleeves, getting the perfect dart, and fine finishes for lighter fabrics.
Suitable for those with intermediate and up sewing experience. Less experienced students should opt for cotton voile, more experienced students can use this as an opportunity to work with trickier fabrics. Students should expect to do some sewing outside of the class.
Cost: $135 (includes the pattern)
Materials: Students will need to provide the fabric and thread for their blouse. A materials list will be provided on registration.
