Learn how to make a classic A-line knee-length gored skirt with a twist: a fan pleated back which gives swish and adds visual interest.

In this class you’ll learn how to sew skirt gores without warping and stretching, set in an invisible/concealed zipper, create fan pleats, sew a classic waistband, and hem a curved hem.

Sewing Level: Intermediate.  Students should be comfortable cutting fabric and using a sewing machine.  This is a good follow-up class to Absolute Beginners.

Materials: Students must supply their own fabric, thread & zip: fabric guidelines will be sent upon registration.
