December 4 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Wednesdays 13, 20, 27, November, 4 December 6-8:30pm (four sessions)
Cost: $160 (includes a printed out hard-copy of the pattern for use in-class, and a PDF version for home use).
To register for the class, please email Leimomi with your name, a contact number and the name of the class you’d like to be in as the subject line.
Improve your fabric handling, sewing and finishing skills as you make up a gorgeous blouse with a clever draped neckline with a gather detail.
The blouse is best sewn in soft draping fabrics such as charmeuse satins, crepes and georgettes in silks, rayons or synthetics, or very light cotton voiles, making this the perfect opportunity to learn how to work with those trickier delicate fabrics.
In this class you will learn how to:
- Cut, sew and work with slippery and delicate fabrics
- Sew perfect darts
- Sew facings that turn smoothly and lie flat beneath the garment
- Set in sleeves OR finish sleeveless shirts
- Finish garments with narrow hems
Sewing Level: Low Intermediate. Students should be comfortable cutting fabric and using a sewing machine. Less experienced students should opt for cotton voile, more experienced students can use this as an opportunity to work with trickier fabrics. Students should expect to do some sewing outside of the class.
Cost: $160 (includes a printed out hard-copy of the pattern for use in-class, and a PDF version for home use).
Materials: Students will need to provide the fabric and thread for their blouse. A materials list will be provided on registration.
Teacher: This class is taught by our awesome sewing expert Joanna Morris.
