Working with Knits: Cardigans
June 19, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, happening 3 times

Wednesdays 12, 19, 26 June 6-8:30pm (three sessions)
Cost: $120 (includes the pattern)
To register for the class, please email Leimomi with your name, a contact number and the name of the class you’d like to be in as the subject line.
Take your knit sewing to the next level as you make a classic button up cardigan with a V-neck.
Using Leimomi’s personal cardigan pattern: the Mackenzie Cardigan, you’ll learn the best ways to create perfect bindings, how to set buttonholes in knits, and other finishing tricks that will make your cardigans look better than boughten ones. By using different fabrics, and playing with design details like bindings and pockets, you can change the look of your cardigan from comfy-casual, to pearl-necklace worthy.
Cost: $120 (includes the pattern)
Materials: Students will need to provide the fabric and notions for their cardigan. A materials list will be provided on registration.
Teacher: This class is taught by our awesome sewing expert Leimomi Oakes.
Level: Suitable for those with intermediate and higher sewing experience. Students should be comfortable sewing knits, and should have fully completed at least two knit garments (i.e. two pairs of leggings, two T-shirts, etc) before the class.
