Create a Pattern from an Existing Garment
Saturday 15 July 10am-4.30pm
$140 includes class materials and tuition.
Your favourite shirt is falling apart; what to do?
In this one day workshop you will learn how to take a pattern from your garment. Maryanne will demonstrate the techniques and then you can have a go on your own garment.
You bring your garment – something fairly simple please, (no 27 panel coats, puffer jackets or garments with lots of frills) and you can make a start. You don’t have to unpick it at all, the process does no harm to the extant garment!
Please note we are making patterns, not garments. This class is suitable for sewists who can sew up the garment they have made the pattern for. A comfortable knowledge of using patterns, seam allowances etc is useful.
Maximum for this class is five.
This class is taught by our Mad Skills expert, Maryanne Cathro.
If you would like to attend this class, please email us at info@mademarioncraft.co.nz including your name and phone number, and the date of the class.
